The Draft blanket chest holds blankets and quilts while providing a sturdy place to sit–or for pets to jump up onto the bed.
My inspiration came from my wife’s quilting hobby. Her work features non-traditional colors, patterns, and techniques. I wanted to provide a place to store quilts while also showing a hint of what the chest contained. The secondary purpose was providing our corgis with a way to jump up onto the bed.
